Sadella

Sadella

During the holiday season of 2013 at 6 months old, my neighbor Sadella was diagnosed with stage 5 Bi-lateral Wilms Tumor, a rare childhood Kidney Cancer. Her family spent Christmas at a nearby hotel, taking shifts at her bedside at SickKids Hospital. This brave little fighter has endured dozens of diagnostic MRIs, CTs, Ultrasounds and echocardiograms, as well as multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and transfusions. Her family entrusted her care to Sick Kids, and thanks to breakthrough treatments, Sadella has now celebrated 11 years of remission. Please consider donating to support other children fighting the biggest battle of their lives.

Hi friends,

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am committed to ride 100 km total, with a goal of raising $1500. Every dollar will help SickKids to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

***Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.***
