My Story

9 Aug 2025

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

    I was side-lined early due to issues with the bike. It's a Giant Talon 1 2021 (Sage Green).

    The gooseneck was replaced soon after I bought the bike. No problems with it now.

    ..

    I was struck twice by low-speed vehicles and the crank arm needed to be replaced. It works.

    ..

    The brakes need servicing. I removed the front as it was leaking oil from a missing cap. The rear pads are new however the lines need mineral oil to increase the pressure to stop.

    Fixed a speed wobble today.
