My Dad was a big supporter of the fight to help these kids LIVE life instead of FIGHTING for it! My dad lost his battle with cancer on October 19, 2019, his fight is over. My brother Dwane ended is fight 2023. My hope is to stop adding names to my list of those who I am riding in memory of. Let us focus on this fight for the kids still silently battling cancer. Kids should be living not fighting cancer. Please help Kick Cancer's Ass!

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my 10 th year in a row riding to fight kids cancer!

I had a total knee replacement in April 2025 and was afraid I would not be able to ride this year. 😢 Then I thought about the many many challenges that kids facing the fight for their lives face and decided I would work really hard and get on my bike for the kids. Two weeks ago I was able to get on my bike and ride!!!

I will ride for the kids once again this year!!!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
