My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

After the Rain

Back on the bike this morning for a great ride. Everything especially lawns are green again.

In my ride I pass a few apple 🍎 orchards and the apples are ripening- a sure sign that fall is coming.

Less than 50 km to Go

I am so lucky to be able to get out and ride each day. It is a great experience though what use to be very small ascends seem to still be a slight challenge - how did I ever do true hills!

Bonus today. Harris who is a young gentleman about 10 years old with great entrepreneurial skills had a veggie stand at the end of his driveway. I only had 4 quarters but they bought a cucumber. You got to love late summer harvest.
