I'm Riding For
Roger Delage Sr.
Doing this challenge for the third year in a row. Riding this one for my dad but also for relatives and friends who have battled cancer or are battling cancer. Why do it? Why not! It’s a great cause! Got inspired by reading the new revised edition “Terry Fox his story”. This “ordinary person” according to himself (p.9 of the book) gave his life dreaming big. So I am riding once again because just like Terry Fox I believe in miracles. Un petit support sera grandement apprécié! Merci beaucoup!
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Kick cancer in the butt day today
13 Aug 2025No ride planned today but a nice 6.3K run after the downpour that we got earlier this morning. 4 donations came in since yesterday and I am hoping for two or three more today as donations will be matched today only (Wednesday, August 13th). Countdown update is $399. Any donations big or small is greatly appreciated and why wait for tomorrow if you can do it today! Much appreciated! 🙏

Relax day today!
9 Aug 2025Busy first week and I am taking a rest day today. Planning a 40K ride before the heat tomorrow morning. The goal this week is to reach half way point in my kilometres. Should do this early in the week despite the heat wave warnings. Big bonus for donations on Wednesday, August 13th. All donations will be doubled. This should be quite helpful. However, GCC had to prorate the donations last year because of the overwhelming amount of donations received on that single day. Expecting the same thing this year. Any support and any amount is welcomed and appreciated at any given time.
