My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

  • 1000 KM for $1000 – My Great Cycle Challenge Canada Journey Begins

    This year, I’m taking on something big. Not just big—epic.

    A close friend threw down the gauntlet:

    “Ride 1000 kilometers and raise $1000 for kids fighting cancer.”

    Challenge accepted.

    I’m joining thousands of Canadians across the country for the Great Cycle Challenge Canada, and my mission is simple:

    💪 Ride 1000 KM

    💰 Raise $1000

    ❤️ Help fight kids’ cancer

    Why I’m Doing This:

    Every year, over 1,400 children in Canada are diagnosed with cancer. It’s the number one cause of disease-related death in Canadian kids—and that’s just not okay. These kids are in the fight of their lives, and they don’t get to quit. So neither will I.

    This challenge isn’t just about riding a bike. It’s about showing up—day after day—for something bigger than myself. It’s about sweat, sore legs, long roads, and relentless purpose.

    1000 KM? Am I Crazy?

    A little bit, yeah.

    1,000 kilometers is no joke. That’s like riding from Toronto to Quebec City. Or doing 33 back-to-back 30K rides. Or nearly 24 marathons… on a bike.

    I’ll be juggling weather, time, fatigue, and maybe a little self-doubt. But I’ll also be riding with passion, purpose, and a whole lot of heart.
