Maci was one of the lucky ones ! She fought Cancer and won! Diagnosed with Leukaemia when Maci was 2 1/2 years old and now she has just turned 13. We are so blessed to have her healthy and cancer free❣️

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

My Family has been touched with Childhood Cancer, as my Granddaughter Maci was diagnosed in 2012, when she was 2 with Leukaemia.

Maci is now 13 and cancer free, however struggles with post chemo side effects.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids like Maci and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
