I’ll map my own ride thanks for nothing

The app malfunctioned due to a gps error , or some other issue.

But I know it was wrong because I’ve never ridden across the water 😳

So I mapped it myself. I rode over 22 K in the heat today. It was a good workout.

Easy breezy

Just a little easy ride this morning. My wife was with me and it was nice to have company😃

Todays ride

Down the road and by the lake

This is the way I usually take

If it’s a long ride I’ll take a break

Not like my last ride, that was a mistake.

Down the road and into the forest

Where the birds and the bugs sing a chorus.

Isn’t it nice that God made them for us .

I saw a bunny, a turtle, but not a horse.

Now on my way I’ll soon be home

And that is the end of my little poem

And you thought this was only a bike a thon

That’s worth a donation isn’t it ?

Change is good?

I took a different way today just to change it up a little bit . The view was different , but out on a hot highway with cars zipping past is not ideal. The only good thing was the wind at my back on the way home. Next time I’ll go back to one of my regular routes. Not all change is good. 🤨

A note to supporters.

I’m just one guy who likes to ride his bike. I don’t always feel like it; but I’m committed to it.

The more important part is the cause. Thousands of participants do it because the money raised helps kids and their families dealing with a terrible disease.

Each donation may not seem much on its own but when everyone gets together we accomplish much. Millions raised to support families, toward treatments, to help find cures.

Getting started

Not as long a ride as I intended, due to a little wind. But it’s the first day so I’m just getting started.

Leisure ride day

A nice leisure ride with my wife today. Slow, but effective. 😃 The big rides start on Friday.

Level up

What started out as a casual ride, ended up being a level up 11 k

I need to do 10 or 20 k rides to achieve the month goal. So I will be ready. 👍
