I just raised $100 to fight kids' cancer and achieved DEFENDER LEVEL in the challenge! Thank you so much for your support.
My butt got even more sore today and my WIFI Speaker's power died during my ride on the way back home. Somehow the Great Cycle Challenge Canada app recorded me riding just over 33.1 Km when my Amazfit Bib 3 Pro fitness watch only recorded 24.57 Km. I fixed the auto ride recorder on the GCCC app to show 24.57 KM instead. I wonder if it's because I am recording my ride through the GCCC app, MapMyFitness, Google Fit and the Zepp app that connects to my Amazfit Bib 3 Pro fitness watch. Does anyone have an idea why there is so much a discrepancy between the great cycle challenge app and the zip app?
Because it was hot most of July nearing 90°F on many days and the humidity being near 100°F or above, I didn't get much training in July done especially the last few weeks before today. And so when I rode today when I hit 15 km my butt became very sore but I pressed on anyway because I had my music blaring on my Wi-Fi speaker hanging on my bike. I must remember not to go near the water treatment plant because it interferes with my fitness watche's GPS and so it canceled part of my ride. I actually rode 22.6 km according to my bike's distance indicator. See the route I rode above.
From Home to Home
Went up just to Lesperance Rd and Riverside Drive and then took a little ride down East side of Little River Rd and then took that back until I could get to the east side of the Ganatchio Trail and then went through the trail and then went to more west part of Little River Road to Frank Ave. and was home.
Today was about staying on the bike longer without getting off and taking a break. I'm trying to get between 17 Km and 20 Km before taking a break before heading home. It's all about how long my behind can sit on the bike seat.
