Hooked up the Schwinn bike trailer and took my grandson Oakley for a 7k ride. My granddaughter wants to join the challenge next year. She did the 7k with us! She's my riding buddy. Love you all!

First day of the challenge.

My day started off nice. Checked the tires. Strapped on the helmet and headed south on 97 St. Went all the way to the river valley. A nice view but it started to rain. Turned the bike around and noticed my rear tire is now flat. I have no pump. Rode to 106 Avenue and a nice homeless guy has a pump. I pumped my tire to 25 psi. This should get me to the gas station on 118 Avenue. I pay the 2.50 to use the car pump and pump my tire to 45 psi. Great now to finish my 20k inaugural ride for g.c.c. my tire goes flat by 144th Avenue. Lessons learned: I need a pump on my bike. Logged a 17k total ride and pushed my bike 3k home. Now to wally world to get a tube!
