Short ride this morning (errand) and a longer ride along the lakeshore. Beautiful day. We saw a heron in one of the Bays and found an awesome splash pad. Wasn’t expecting to get soaked!

Had a killer workout with Andrea G-C yesterday and today, so taking a short break from cycling. Had a nice walk with a friend and sent my son on a cycling/camping trip (photo of bike below).
I Have a good ride planned for tomorrow, down by the waterfront. Maybe there will be a splash pad on route…. Will take a pic. ….’til then.
Quick after dinner ride with Tai. Had to get back to spray the wasp nest - Best done at dusk or late at night.
Decided to ride to the closest hardware store. Unfortunately it was closed when we got there. Have to wait another day to tackle the paper wasp nest… not too upset about delaying that activity!
20k ride to and along the BeltLine out past the Allen expressway. Such a nice ride… next time I will remember to bring earbuds. Tunes would be a great addition to that ride!
Got a little more comfortable with the backroads around our neighbourhood. Finally got my left hand gears to work a bit better and now know my back vs front break….
Downhill then uphill… only walked twice on really steep parts! 27 km total!
Today is Aug 1 and Tai and I rode 6.4 km today into Glendon College.
