Just like the sponsors who are going to double the donations received today, I've decided to double my ride bike to twice the original distance. My challenge will be to complete 200 km this month.
Feeling: focused on reaching the goal!!
Hello everyone.
My name is Yesid Sepulveda. I am from Colombia where I worked in the health care field for more than 15 years. During that time I had the honor of knowing many stories of families where childhood cancer had impacted their lives. From each one of them I learned a lot, but what I remember most is the role that Empathy plays, that as health workers we must have with patients and their families, as the key to facilitate any action within the comprehensive health plan that our children are receiving.
The second thing that is undoubtedly to highlight and recognize is the capacity of RESILIENCE that children have to face any health difficulty because even knowing their diagnosis of cancer, they NEVER GIVE UP... and ALWAYS have a positive attitude!!!!
So, now that I live in Canada when I found out about the challenge, I immediately was a..... I'm in, count me in..... Because every effort counts and more if it is for our future generations.
Thanks in advance to all those who wish to support me.
Happiness, wellbeing and gratitude to all of you.
Yesid Leonardo Sepulveda
