Match Day was record breaking this year for Sick Kids through GCC! It’s amazing the difference we can do and it’s because of your support and generosity that it’s possible.
You've helped give these families a reason to smile and more importantly, you've given them hope for a cancer-free future and the support they need to continue their fight to beat this awful disease.

A long and hot ride to Belle River today. On my way out, I met another local rider named Tracey. She has had incredible success fundraising for Sick Kids and we hope to connect sometime during the challenge for a ride together.
On the way back, I stopped and indulged at DQ to cool off and get out of the heat. Then continued on and stopped in to visit a friend and long time sponsor. Those porch visits are a nice break on route to catch up and rehydrate.
Home briefly to shower before going back out on our bikes and meeting friends for dinner. It was a great day!
It was announced today that donations will be matched on Wednesday August 13th.

Today marks a week since the start of the challenge. I’m going steady and am on track for achieving my kms. The funds are coming in and I know they’ll continue the more I spread the word and get out there.
Looking forward to Friday Night Lights tonight with Mark and Windsor Eats. A great way to unwind and wheel in the weekend!!
A great first few days of the challenge! Sunshine and comfortable temperatures making 50 kms per weekend day possible. Week days don’t have enough hours but I’ll do what I can between work and other commitments 🚴🏼♀️
Just a couple days away from making the miles count in this year’s Great Cycle Challenge. My bikes had a tune up and I’m pumped for a month on two wheels!
It’s been a hot summer this far so I’m hoping the temps are a bit more bearable in the coming weeks. Either way, I aim to complete the goals I’ve set for myself by the end of August. I’ll try to post regularly to keep you up to speed on how it’s going and where I’m riding.
